Road trip "home"
Even at the gas stations in NH, there are fun things to do! I love exploring creeks. Totally reminds me of growing up and exploring with my dad and siblings! Great memories!
Tubing and driving
Kaitlyn, Conner and Tim took off down the Saco River! We couldn't find a babysitter since school just started so I stayed with the twins! I was bummed because I LOVE this river and spending the time with our family on it! We only have to wait about 2 years to do it with the 6 of us! Can't wait! They decided to tube down the river instead of kayak! Great choice! You can just sit back and let the river take you! They tubed over 3 miles and had so much fun on the robe swings and jumping off the rocks!
I took the little girsl on a long car ride! I love NH and how beautiful it is! Every corner you turn is more beautiful sites from our creator!
Besides the covered bridges in NH, I also love all the old white churches! These churches are scattered all over New England and I love them. I wish I was using my camera for these pics....or maybe i was and I should have used my cell phone! Oh well..... I still love them!
Monkeys in the trees
We had to visit Cranmore while we were up in NH! The kids love this place! They are so brave because they climbed SO HIGH!
I wasn't able to get up where they were due to having the babies with me. This picture does not do the rope course justice! However in this picture you can see Conner starting off on one of the zip lines!
This is why I wasn't able to get good pictures. Do you see this hill? If you look close and follow the fence up the hill you will see that it is quite the incline! I made it up the hill completely sweaty! I was in flip flops and you should have seen me trying to get down the hill with a double stroller. The nice family, who had twin 10 yr old boys, offered to help me down. I usually don't take people up on their offer BUT this was a life or collision decision and i made the right choice. The dad took the stroller down the hill for me! The girls and I waited over 3 hours in the 85+ heat while the other three were having loads of fun! We survived!
I loves these guys sooo much!
Our little Zippy found his place!
2nd stop : Groveland, MA
We had these guys come visit us before we left the next afternoon! We miss our little gang!
Road Trip
We stayed in CT so we could go to this place.............Brownstone! We had so much fun! If you enlarge the picture you can see that huge slide in the background! Next to the slide is that big cliff...Kaitlyn jumped from the cliff several times! Then there was this HUGE rope swing off in the trees to the right! "wicked" cool! From the cliff over by the slide were some zip lines that landed you in front of this dock! Both K and C loved this one! The zip line lands you right into the water! pretty cool!
My muscle man!
This is cool! You would have to clime a rock wall in the middle of the water and that would take you to the top of this "building" in the water. Then you would jump onto this huge pillow after that you crawl to the end of the pillow so that when the next person jumps it makes you fly into the water! SWEET!
There were all kinds of inflatables in the water to play on. They had wake boarding and kayaking on the other side.
Most impressive is this over 100 ft cliff! There are 4 zip lines on the top of that cliff. It was crazy high. You would have to step over the cliff and zip line down to the water! It was fast! Kaitlyn and Tim went on this one and raced to the bottom! We had such a good day! The babies kept me busy while we watched everyone!

Shots
WE all were privileged to spend a whopping 2 hours at the doctors office! 2 month appointment = SHOTS!! Yep! three shots each and one oral vaccine! Yepper that is 6 shots total! Fun Fun! Corryn weighed in at 10lb 7 oz! She is in the 50% and her little head is only at 17%----Not taking after her daddy!! However........
Kaia is! She weighed in at 12lb 13oz! Our chunky monkey! She is in the high 80-90 % for everything! The doc says she is really tall! I think 23 1/2 inches already! Slow down girls!!

Late night fun
We had the privilege of watching these three youngins last night while their parents went out on a date! We had a great time. Once it got dark we all walked down to the local park and played flashlight tag for a LONG time! We then took a LONG walk to Baskin Robins for a late night treat! The kids were so excited because they were about to close the shop and the manager offered them lots of donuts to take home for free! They couldn't stop talking about it and they are planning a nightly trip there for free donuts! HAHA!
Tidal Basin
We made it out again! What a beautiful day! I love my kids so much! for goodness sake they put up with me so right there they deserve so much! Anyway back to our "adventure".....I took the kids to the Tidal Basin. We explored the Thomas Jefferson Memorial! We read up on TJ before we headed out! I love how much they are learning while we are down here!
The babies are enjoying the adventures as well. They LOVE being outside!
so on a side note.....i was expecting most of what we have experienced with the twins but what I wasn't prepared for is all the stares, pointing, whispering and comments. We get stopped all the time! I have had many positive comments but it is the feeling like a circus at that I wasn't prepared for! This particular day there was a big bus full of Japanese tourist. As we were walking past them there was so much pointing and whispering and then this one guy pulls out his telescope camera and starts clicking pictures of the babies. Maybe I am just sensitive. I told Tim I was going to try to start embracing all the attention but I have never liked being the center of attention (despite what my brother says)! Kinda funny because I guess when Tim took the kids for a bike ride through DC yesterday they were by the Iwo Jima memorial on the way back home and a lady started taking pictures of K and C too! Oh well.....

Afternoon at the Capitol
strong girls
Well Kaia (above) is strong! She picks her head up and looks all around! Corryn(below) doesn't care to show off! They are starting to look more alike to me! They both still have blue eyes and will be curious if they will go hazel like the older two! Kaia is going to have to graduate to size 2 diapers soon. She is a rolly polly even though it doesn't look like it in this picture!
