Thanks Aunt Kathy!!
Tim's aunt Kathy made these adorable fleece blankets! Perfect to throw out and have the babies stretch out on them! We have used them several times already and we just received them! Perfect!! Thank you!
little mommy
Thank God for this big girl....especially when she decides she will help me with these little ones! She is so comfortable picking up the babies and basically doing it all! Here she is with the front pack and little Corryn in tow! People think I am crazy for letting her carry her around but these people never had two to take care of! Any help is appreciated! She really is awesome with her sisters! She is a natural! Most people think she is carrying a baby doll......until they hear the baby squeal! She gets TONS of stares and whispers as people pass!
The girls
Boy these two are getting so fun!!!! Still crying a lot but when they are happy it makes all the crying vanish! We are so blessed!
Shopping in Northern VA
So NOT excited about the fruit here! I miss our apple picking! I also miss our 99 cents/lb price tag! I think it was $ 2.49/lb here and you can really tell in the pic but they are small apples and just NOT as good! Can i tell you I spent $190 in groceries this week...that is CRAZY! I probably would have only spend $120 on the same groceries up in MA!
This is apartment living! No room for babies......I load up the stroller and carry the two girls in while pushing this loaded stroller through the halls! I miss the older kids during the day! They are such big helpers!
So excited
Conner was so excited when he got home from school this week! He was talking so fast and telling me that this school library is THE BEST library EVER!!!!! It has all his favorite books! Plus the librarian is hilarious and gave out gummy worms so all the kids would become book worms this school year!
Thank you, Aunt Cherie!!
Can you tell how excited the girls are? Thrilled! Haha....they just were NOT excited about the camera! Are not these blankets gorgeous? I love them. The colors are amazing..these pics don't do them justice! Aunt Cherie made them for the girls and we so appreciate them! Conner still uses his blanket that Aunt Cherie made him on his bed! So beautiful! Thank YOU!
all smiles
So i have tons of pics of these two smiling! I love it! We have been waiting for a LONG time to see these smiles and hear their giggles and coos! LOVE it! God is good!
Arlington Cemetery
Last weekend we explored Arlington Cemetery! We owe so much to the men and women who died for our freedom! It is hard to explain that to the kids! It is quite overwhelming! Check out the view below!
Kaitlyn took this pic of the guard at the unknown soldier tomb! We were able to witness the change of the guards! You should google what these guys have to do to become one of the elite! They have to uphold these standards their entire lives! What an honor...totally have a new respect for these young men!

swinging
I don't even think we moved the hand me down swings people gave us because I didn't think we would have room! Kaitlyn and Conner never really liked our swing so I just figured these two wouldn't like it either! I of course was wrong! We have plenty of room for it and the girls love it! So wish we used a swing earlier!

First day of school
We are all a little nervous this morning but the kids are so brave! I am not sure I would have been as brave if it were me but I think Tim and I have done a pretty good job preparing them! They made me so proud today! So proud!
Just the 6 of us!
National Book Fair
Tim sent Conner and I off for a date of our own! Conner was thrilled! Tim and K stayed home with the babies and had adventures of their own! Conner and I took the metro into DC to the Convention Center! He was so excited! None of his favorite authors were there but we went to Dav Pilkey's little presentation and he was hilarious! Conner writes his own books and makes comics as well so this was right up his alley! We went and bought one of Mr. Pilkey's books, one form the Captain Underpants series!
Conner of course read the entire book as we waiting in line to get the book signed! There were so many kids waiting! It took us over an hour! Conner reread the book several times and he pointed out lots of funny things to me!
Date night
Tim and I had the pleasure of going out! Our friends watched all four kids ( with their three)! We took the metro into DC and went to Marine Corps Barracks! These are the oldest ones built in 1801! It was gorgeous! I am so upset these are the only pictures I got! This place is gorgeous and the Commandant's house all lit up was amazing! We watched the Marine Corp band and their silent drill team! They gave a great performance! Once again it brought me back to our Marine Corps days! So cool! It didn't start til it was dark out and we still were able to go out for a bite to eat after! Thanks to the T family for babysitting!
