YAY for 24

God has truly blessed us! He is good! He gives and takes away! He has given to us again and we are thankful! God has brought S and our lives together! I was able to go down to TX again last week. A quick less than 24 hr trip but oh so refreshing. I had worked the night before I left, flew down on one hour sleep and then drove up to their house. Next day was our appointment...we were able to see our two lovely girls and then to lunch and home!
S was able to drink her favorite orange drink! She is so glad it is over! Well hopefully its over we find out the results today!

So very happy to be at 24 weeks! Our babies have a chance at life if they were born right now! Of course I would like for them to stay put until at least 37 weeks but ultimately God is in control and has a plan! So excited to see his plan unfold! So we are at the 6 month mark! Pretty amazing and definitely something to celebrate and praise God for!

sickies

I took K out of school early the other day! She probably shouldn't have gone to school but she had standardize tests two days last week and she really couldn't miss them. So this is what se did when she got home! My beautiful little girl was sick! Then Conner got it and guess what Tim the horse didn't get it but yes I am miserable!

old Tshirt = new dress

I found a new favorite! I got the idea off pinterest of course! Tim was donating several of his gold tshirts but I loved most of them. They all hold great memories! So here is what i created!  It was fun! Now I have a couple orders to fill! :0)

collecting

Samantha gave us some baby stuff! lots of baby stuff! We found tons of K's old clothes which was fun! If I hadn't given them her clothes we would have donated them and would have never been able to use them. This is fun! K had to try on one of her old jackets!
We bought this backpack for cheap on an online yard sale! It is perfect! coner was trying it out!

All boys 7 year old Birthday party

So no theme this year! We decided to stay simple! Simple is always better anyways.....at least cheaper :0)
No fancy cake this year either! Yet it tasted just the same!
My big 7 year old! how did that even happen? God has definitely blessed us!
We played lots of games but the first one was a hit so we played it over and over! Lego bingo! Then we moved on to a relay race with straws and marshmellows! Then we continued the do a relay with an egg and a spoon!

Conner decided instead of doing a pinata we would have an egg hunt so that we did and it was a big hit. Since the girls weren't invited, K, vanessa and chloe helped out and hid the eggs for us!
Did i mention it was 27 degrees out? The snow is almost all gone! The kids weren't too sure about the balloon stomp game at first but they warmed up to it. Basically, you have to chase each other around trying to stomp and pop the other balloons while keeping yours from getting popped! 9 boys......that is why we did this one outside! I thought it was great!
 The crew!
 Happy Birthday BIG C!

23 week belly

We are so blessed to have such a wonderful surrogate! Love her and her family! I'm excited to get down there this week and see the babies and hear their little hearts beating! Such a miracle!

Moving right along

So this is a 5 1/2 month belly! Cool right? S says she feels heavy and like she was 8 months pregnant. I totally wish I could take  it all away for her. That I could feel like that instead of her but I know that is not in God's plans so instead I sit here praying for her and those two precious babies she is carrying of ours! She looks great and is still keeping busy with her family! Our babies get to hop on a flight with the P family tomorrow! I am a bit nervous...I'm not going to lie! Our past two surrogacy pregnancies things have happened after flights but again it is out of our control and just another opportunity to give it over to God and know that He is in complete control!
22 weeks!!! Crazy right! It seems like those babies have been growing forever! Well at least they have been forever in our  hearts! I have always dreamed and just thought I would have twins one day! They run on my maternal side! I know it is going to be challenging but I also know that God doesn't give something to someone if He doesn't think we can handle it! Please remind me of this in 5 months! :0)
