Luke

The kids know we always read the Christmas story of when Christ was born before we open presents. We are reminded of the greatest gift of all! The kids went and got one of their Bibles and found the passage in Luke! Conner read it for us!

The girls were intent on the reading!

scavenger hunt by Santa

I was so excited for this year!! We didn't give the kids anything for Christmas this year because we are hoping to go on a big family vacation this summer! Santa still had to make an appearance even though we don't have a chimney here in the apartment! He set up a wild scavenger hunt that the kids absolutely LOVED!! The clues 9 with $1 in each envelope) took them all over the apartment, the entire building, the parking garage and the playground! It ended on our deck with these presents that you had to punch through and on the other end were 50 $1 bills that were all crumpled to look like tons! The kids were thrilled! I am hoping to do this every year! We had no stockings and there were no complaints! The kids hope Santa does this every year!

The girls watched in excitement and all the activity! Next year they will be toddling all around!

The punch was awesome!
