40 miler

The girls and I dropped Tim, K, and C about 40 miles away from home and then went and enjoyed the beautiful weather God blessed us with in December!
Tim had this planned for awhile. I was a little hesitant! His plan.....a 40 mile mountain bike trip! The kids were game. They packed tons of water and food......i wish they had sleeping bags it would have made me feel easier! Conner promised to take pictures for me and he sent me some along the way! Can you find in below....that is why we have him wear neon yellow!

I am so proud and amazed that they did it! There were some bumps along the way but they have some awesome stories to tell including they rode that far! They went from 10:30ish til at least 2 hours after dark. I was worried! We celebrated with 5 Guys! Yummo......

We gave in...... it is hard to fit the girls both in the front of the carriage together anymore. They are both just too long! So I've tried a bunch of different ways to get the grocery shopping done! Finally I decided to give in and try out the car (which i really only used a hand full of times with K and C). The girls were giddy! They thought it was so fun! I haven't used it since but I am sure we will again!

Just another fall day at our park! The girls are so fun to watch play!

We found a friend on the walk back home!

First pigtails

Kaitlyn used to let me do her hair everyday! Not a problem it was just part of the routine. I don't even remember when it all started so maybe Kaia just needs a little more time! She was not a happy camper but she did leave them in for the most part and that is the biggest battle .
K and C are in basketball this winter so I've been taking them to the neighborhood park more to play a little ball and show off my skills! :0)
This girl has the best laugh!! Love her!

dresses

I decided to make the girls and their cousins matching dresses! Still need to finish the ones for the big girls!

Thank you fellow Twins

Kaitlyn has a pair of sweet friends (who are twins). They love our little girls! They are so sweet with them.  They brought them over each a HUGE gift bag full beautiful stuffed animals! The babies were in love!

Away in a manger

The girls are learning about baby Jesus! I love it! I really like how K's head light is shinning on the baby Jesus and the angel!

December came and went

So I of course am behind on this blog so i am hoping to make a mass posting today! We made a prayer chain to count down until we were to leave for the cabin to meet up with Tim's side of the family for Christmas! On each chain we listed a family member's name and when we took each link down we had someone to pray for throughout the day! The kids enjoyed this as much as I did!
