reading time
The girls are taking after Conner with the reading time!! Love watching their little brains grow and work! :0)
Rip stickin
Kaitlyn and her rip stick! She rode it to soccer practice the other day! Love living where we can walk to school and activities! We are going to miss it here!
Avalon Family
We have been blessed with great friends here while T is working in DC. All of these families work with Tim (either the mom or dad). Pretty cool that we are all here in the same boat. We look out for each others kids, help with transportation, child care, food, fun! We love the courtyard where we meet up to grill out and spend the night just hanging out with each other and kids! Great fun! So thankful for each of these individuals!
Blurry group shot!
Ending a fun night with a little bubble bath! Gotta love it!

Goodbye Cribs....hello princess beds
So the girls are 21 months and this is the time we have gotten rid of the cribs with the other two so why not try it with these two as well. Tim and I agreed that he would get to pick their toddler beds ( he really wanted them to have princess beds) and I will get to pick their big girl beds! So the beds came in the mail last week after a all nighter at work. K helped me put them together and I took apart their cribs and threw them out so there was NO going back! The girls did awesome!! They LOVE their new beds
Rise and Shine!!!The other day at nap time....about 45 mins after I had put them down....I heard TONS of giggling! I turned the monitor on and it first flashes to Kaia's bed and she wasn't there so I switched the monitor over to Corryn's bed and there lay C fast asleep with K tickling C's head and busting up laughing about it. I sternly spoke through the door and told K to get to bed and cover up with the blanket and go to bed. It was so funny because I could see her little chunky legs waddle right over to her bed and do what I said. Sleep she went and C never woke up until hours later! I am sure they will be up to mischief within no time. We have made it through the first week without any issues! Praising God!
School Auction
This auction was tons of fun! The decorations were amazing! I should've taken some pictures. Of course my favorite part was the drinks and of course this candy bar!!
This is C's teacher ( not his favorite by any means) I had to get a selfie and send it to C so he could see who I was talking with! This is a favorite of C's! He didn't get her as a teacher but she has always been so nice!
Here is my buddy exploring the candy table with me!
We did win a few things at the auction! :0) Last year this auction made somewhere around $60,000
Salon Day
The girls were mesmerized by the nail polish! they thought it was so cool!
Trying out her new style!

We have to say goodbye!!
For mom's last day here, we went to explore the FBI museum! We didn't have alot of time but it was fun! The girls weren't too thrilled but we survived!
Yep this amazing lady is so AWESOME! She is definitely a second mom to me! I am blessed, Tim is blessed and these kids are beyond blessed!!

Budapest, Hungary and Vienna, Austria
View from the Citadel! The Danube River runs right through the middle of Budapest!
This is our view from our room. At night, The Royal Palace, Citadel, Parliament, and the Matthias Church is lit up!
Fisherman's Bastion
The Royal Palace
The Chain Bridge
Parliament
This is a picture I took from the inside of our boat during the River Cruise.
Above and below are pictures of The Great Market Hall! It is crazy all the fresh food sold here.
There are several Roman Baths that are still used here! There are several Hot Springs that feed these baths! Pictures weren't allowed in there but oh my goodness it was gorgeous! This one we went to was called Gellert! I was in awe of it all!
A little bit of flavor! While we were there it was Easter. It is a National Holiday. They get Sunday and Monday off to celebrate! There were so many fairs, outside shopping and food!
GELLATO!!! This place that we frequented created their cones like roses. Three different flavors and oh so good!
So Monday through Thurs. I did all my sightseeing by myself while Tim was at work! I was exhausted! I walked soo much! I actually slept in every day and then started the exploration!
Margaret Island had these ruins that I explored. I knew K and C would have so much fun running through these ruins!
Matthias Church
When Tim was done with work, we took the train to Vienna, Austria. We had been here together years ago..before kids so it was fun to explore together again!
A little stuffed cabbage
Back in Budapest for our last night! We had a great view from the Bistro where we ate dinner!
We were so blessed with this opportunity. It was a great time to reconnect and enjoy each other! We are so thankful for Tim's mom to be willing to take on the challenge of watching our four angels!
