Monkeys in the trees

We found a cool place called Adventure Park in MD! Just a short drive from our place! It was a perfect fall day! Crisp and absolutely Gorgeous! I will have to post pics from the pics Grandma took with her camera!

I love how the kids don't fear heights! They have been climbing in the trees since the age of three and they absolutely love it!

Zip lining! These pics do not do justice to how high they climbed! I am sure Grandma got some better pics!

Check out Grandma and the front pack! So nice to finally have an extra set of hands to help me out! So thankful for her!

Happy

I really like this girl! She is one cool cookie! Amazes me everyday! so thankful for this little one!

friends

Check out our pool room. Pretty sweet right? We live in the lap of luxury.....as least for 18 months! Anyway, Connie had his friend over the other day and we had a mean game of pool going on!

Just chillin

I've been out of commission for the last several weeks. Between starting a new job, Grandma being here and a ruptured ear drum I have been a bit busy! I need to update all my pictures!  Here is Corryn...all smiles!

I love how much Kaitlyn and Conner love their sisters! They are so good with them!

The other day Conner was in the nursery rocking Kaia and reading to her. I asked him what he was reading and he explained to me that he wasn't reading as much as he was explaining the "E" sound and long and short Es! These two babies might end up being geniuses!

Shenandoah Valley National Park

Our second National park in 2 days! This has been a great weekend! Isn't it gorgeous?

We took in some amazing views and gorgeous hikes! Oh and don't let me forget to tell you that we saw a bear! I know Tim has seen tons in the wild but I think this is my first at least this close. Our trailhead started about .2 of a mile from our bear sighting! Crazy! We were extra cautious on our hike! We kept our eyes peeled...it made it even more fun! We all agreed we would throw Conner to the Bears and take off! :0)

Our first hike was down to this creek bed that had small water falls! so pretty! This picture does not do it justice!

We found these type of vines on Thomas Jefferson Island and we found them again here! They create so much fun!

Lots of monkeys swinging on these vines!

We took a different hike just to find these boulders! They were amazing! There were gorges to hike over as well.

This pic was taken on the "throne"to Kaitlyn's right and in front of them is a huge drop off into this deep ravine! This gets my heart racing just looking at it!

He LOVES to climb! This vine is just a rope to him and he scurrying right up to the top! I love how they explore!
We spent a great day in God's beautiful creation!

Great Falls

This is such a BEAUTIFUL place! The kids had so much fun! We all did! These falls are amazing! We watched kayakers drop in at the base of the falls and paddle up and ride the falls down and do it again! So dangerous but fun to watch!

This was a great autumn day!

We took several hikes through the woods! Reminded us of our fall hikes in NH!

We learned about the lock system that was built to get around the falls! Pretty amazing!

My kids given to me by our heavenly Father! Boy I am blessed!

These two keep me laughing ( screaming at times) and I adore them!

Missing home

The kids have had an awesome childhood! This move has rocked that world! They have done amazingly well with the move! So much better than I would have done as a child! Conner has so many details in this drawing that I love!
